8th December, 2015 turned out bad for the entire
students of Godfrey Okoye University as the Heart-breaking news of the Loss of our
own student, Ifunanya Josephine Nwodo, a 300level student of the department of Public

Ifunanya was said to be suffering from heart
failure for a while now before she collapsed in school and she was taken
to the hospital before she later gave up the ghost.
Ifunanya Josephine Nwodo is a popular figure, who is always seen being
happy and smiling. Ifunanya is also a very cheerful person who is good in
making friends. She loved simplicity and impacted in so many people’s lives
with her extremely good pieces of advice. She had the rightest choice of words
and always intended to make people around her feel lifted. The death of Ifunanya
devastated so many students in school as tears of friends and loved ones filled
the whole compound. We shall continue to pray for her soul and pray that God
grants her mercy and a glorious place in Heaven. We love you and will always
have you in our hearts.
May the soul of Ifunanya and the souls of all the faithful
departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
